According to Massachusetts State Police, a 36-year-old Springfield man died in a crash involving three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, on Route 195 in Seekonk.

The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on Route 195 westbound off Exit 1 in Seekonk, police said in a statement. All three lanes were closed while emergency crews attempted to rescue those involved in the crash.

The driver of a 2022 Toyota Highlander, a 36-year-old man from Springfield, died from injuries sustained in the crash, state police said. The driver of a 2022 Ford F650, a 45-year-old man from North Easton, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A 31-year-old man from Florida was the driver of a 2020 Kenworth semi-truck. He was not injured, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.

All lanes were reopened at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and the accident site was cleared.
