JEFFERSON/CLEARFIELD CO., Pennsylvania (EYT) — Local state police responded to the following incidents:

Local woman charged with hitting man on the head

PSP DuBois responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 900 block of Pancoast Street in Reynoldsville Borough, Jefferson County at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Friday, July 5.

According to police, a 39-year-old Reynoldsville woman struck her victim in the side of the head.

The victim is a 22-year-old man from DuBois.

The office of District Judge David Inzana will file a complaint against the arrested man for harassment.

Drug possession in county jail

Marienville-based State Police responded to a drug possession incident at the Jefferson County Jail on Service Center Road in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County at approximately 6:55 p.m. on June 1.

According to police, a 34-year-old woman from Sigel was in possession of methamphetamine.

No further details were announced.

Driving under the influence in Sandy Township

PSP DuBois conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Rich Highway in Sandy Township, Clearfield County on Thursday, July 4, at approximately 10:43 p.m.

According to police, the driver of a 2000 Toyota Tundra showed signs of impairment from controlled substances and was arrested for drunk driving.

The driver is a well-known 27-year-old man from DuBois.

Charges are pending pending the arrestee’s toxicology results from District Judge David Meholick’s office.
