David Lynn Hannaford, 68, of Wasola, died June 8, 2024, at Baxter Health in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

David, son of Billy Gene Hannaford and Shirley Marie (Coy) Hannaford, was born on December 10, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas.

David married Gail Renne (Crocker) Brown on May 25, 1996.

He was born in Wichita and raised in Mansfield, where he graduated from Mansfield High School in 1974. He was a member of Labor Union Local 663, where he worked as a construction foreman in Dewitt and retired in 2013.

David professed his faith in Christ and was a member and deacon of the Antioch Baptist Church.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending time with his family, tinkering with his truck, being a gunsmith, and working on his farm.

David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; his sons, Heath Hal Hannaford of Springfield, David Chad Hannaford of Alabama, Loren Brown Jr. of New Bloomfield, David Brown of Buffalo and Bradley Brown of Tebbets; his daughter, Desra Brown of Ozark; his grandchildren, Brandon, Valerie, Clayton, Hayden, Peyton, Jadyn, Case, Cole, Jessica, Tristen and Mikaela; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Braxton, Crew, Zephyr and Brooklyn; his sisters, Connie Kingery of Rogersville and Tina Nichols and her husband, John, of Mansfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

His parents, his brother Bradley Hannaford and his wife Melanie predeceased him.

Arrangements are under the care of Craig Hurtt Funeral Home, Mountain Grove.
