Offense was no problem for the Deltaville Deltas on Friday night, defeating the Richmond Avalanche 14-0, but a series of defensive errors and a strong punch from the Chesapeake Sharks condemned them to an 11-5 loss on Saturday.

More than halfway through the regular season, the Deltas boast a league record of 8-2-1 (9-3-1 overall). They are third in the crowded Richmond NABA standings, followed by the Richmond El Heaters in second place at 7-1-1 and the Tappahannock Tides at the top of the standings at 7-1.

This week, the Deltas travel to Richmond to face the Richmond Trash Pandas 6-4 at 7 p.m. Thursday at LC Byrd High School. On Saturday, the Deltas return home to face the Fredericksburg Havoc.
