When you think of holiday movies, you probably think of Christmas holidaysand Chevy Chase comes to Tampa to screen this cult film.

If you asked 10 people what their favorite Christmas movies are, I am sure that more than half of them National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. It’s been a favorite of my family and I since I was a kid and I don’t think a Christmas has gone by that we haven’t watched it as a family. In fact, I usually watch it a couple of times over the course of December. It’s just that good. And there’s no denying that there are some quotes in it that anyone you say them to will know which movie they’re from.

Well, this winter you have the chance to get up close and personal with Clark Griswold himself, Chevy Chase.

Chevy Chase comes to Tampa for the screening of the legendary Christmas film

A few years ago, Richard Dreyfuss was in Tampa to attend a screening of The White shark at SharkCon. It was so cool to watch the movie with him in the audience and do a Q&A afterwards. The holiday version of this will take place in December when Chevy Chase will be back for a special screening of Christmas holidaysThe event will take place on December 1st, kicking off the Christmas month at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts.

What is being billed as a “Live Conversation with Chevy Chase,” according to the event website, “Chase will share behind-the-scenes stories and anecdotes revolving around the making of this beloved movie that has become a Christmas tradition. But the laughs don’t stop there! Chase will also answer questions from the audience.”
